Über Anne Weber
Anne Weber lives, loves, and works in Siegen, having returned there after various life stations in major German cities and London. Fascinated by the human face, body, and soul, she has been exploring the human being and their uniqueness on an artistic level for a few years, alongside her main profession as an anesthesia nurse. With various approaches, she follows no rules and leaves no room for perfectionism. As a result, her art can be found on canvas, wood, furniture, and even people, using acrylic, charcoal, or watercolor. In her works, Anne Weber incorporates personal thoughts and memories, the details of which often remain a secret to the viewer. She expresses through her hands what doesn’t come out of her lips. Often, her paintings are inspired by texts.

Zwischen Neon,
Emotion und
Vergänglichkeit
entstehen meine Werke.
Aus Siegen – für Räume, Ausstellungen und Begegnungen style
Between strength and fragility, I celebrate life through my art. My paintings in acrylic and
neon colors speak of radiance and decay, of intimacy and loss. Each work holds a moment
suspended between joy, memory, and transience ̶ a quiet reflection of what it means to
exist in the fleeting rhythm of time.
I am drawn to contrasts: light and shadow, presence and disappearance, beauty and
impermanence. The vibrant luminosity of neon becomes a metaphor for the pulse of life
itself ̶ intense, dazzling, yet destined to fade. Through layers of color and gesture, I seek
to make visible what often slips away unnoticed: the tenderness within strength, the
vulnerability within beauty.
Painting, for me, is an act of awareness. It is a way to hold onto what cannot be held, to
honor the ephemeral nature of every experience. In each image, I try to capture the fragile
miracle of being ̶ because nothing stays as it is, and therein lies the wonder.

ALL THE WOMAN IN ME ARE TIRED
This artwork speaks to a deeply universal experience…
the emotional complexity of identity, especially within women’s inner worlds. The layered colors and fragmented facial features suggest multiple selves coexisting—strength, vulnerability, resilience, and exhaustion all at once. Even without knowing the artist’s background, viewers from different cultures can recognize the feeling of carrying many roles and expectations at the same time.
The bold, almost clashing colors draw attention immediately, but beneath that vibrancy lies a quiet heaviness. The tired eyes and downward gaze evoke a sense of introspection and emotional fatigue that transcends language and geography. It reflects themes like mental load, self-perception, and the pressure to “hold everything together,” which resonate globally.
An international audience should see this piece because it opens a conversation about shared human experiences—especially those that are often internal and unspoken. It invites empathy, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own inner multiplicity and the invisible burdens people carry. At the same time, its expressive, contemporary style makes it accessible and visually compelling across cultures.
